Burning Man is an annual event that takes place in Black Rock City each year. The nine-day event creates a temporary self-sustaining and self-reliant city in the Black Rock Desert. Thousands of visitors come together to create the ultimate experience, centred around the 10 principles of burning man to reflect and celebrate the ethos, values and culture of the Burning Man Community.

The festival organisers say:
